Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

At Stennings, we believe your personal information belongs to you. We collect only what we need to fulfill your orders and communicate with you, and we do not sell, trade, or share your data with advertisers. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

01

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you place an order, request a quote, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Shipping address
  • Billing address
  • Phone number, if provided
  • Order details and design preferences
  • Any artwork or logos you upload
  • Communications you send us (emails, messages, support requests)

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we automatically collect a small amount of technical information:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited on our site
  • Date and time of visits
  • The website that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed

This data is collected by our own built in analytics system. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third party tracking service.

02

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfillment and production
  • Communicating with you about your orders, including confirmations, proofs, and shipping updates
  • Processing payments through our payment provider
  • Improving our website and services
  • Complying with legal and tax obligations
  • Responding to your questions or support requests

We will never use your information for targeted advertising, and we will never sell it to third parties.

03

Third Party Service Providers

To run our business we share limited information with a small number of trusted providers, solely for the purposes described below.

Stripe (Payment Processing)

When you make a purchase, your payment information (card number, billing address, name, email) is sent directly to Stripe, Inc. for secure processing. Stennings never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe also collects device and behavioral data, such as typing patterns and mouse movements, for fraud prevention through Stripe Radar, which is enabled by default. Stripe may begin collecting this data before you complete your purchase. You can review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Transactional Email Provider

We use a third party email service to send order confirmations, proof notifications, shipping updates, and other messages about your orders and quotes. The data shared is limited to your email address, name, and order details. If you join our email list in the site footer, we keep your address on that list and may use this service to send you occasional news. Every one of those emails will include an unsubscribe link, and we only add people who sign up themselves.

Etsy

If you purchase through our Etsy shop, Etsy collects and processes your data according to their own privacy policy. We receive your name, shipping address, and order details from Etsy in order to fulfill your order.

Shipping Carriers

Your name and shipping address are shared with the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) so they can deliver your order and provide tracking.

Hosting and Business Software

Our website, database, email and any artwork you upload run on cloud services and business software that store and process your information only on our behalf: to host the site, spot and fix errors, keep our order records, and help us manage and answer your messages.

Fonts and Images

Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, the product-page photo viewer from a public code library (cdnjs), and some product and garment photos from Etsy's and our suppliers' image servers. As with any web request, those services receive your IP address and basic browser details when your browser fetches those files. We do not send them anything else about you.

04

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our site uses only essential cookies required for the site to function properly. These include:

  • Session cookies, which keep you logged in and maintain your shopping cart
  • CSRF protection cookies, a security measure that prevents unauthorized actions

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, social media cookies, or any cross site tracking technologies. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, a cookie consent banner is not required under US law, though we are disclosing their use here for full transparency.

05

Do Not Track Signals

Our site does not track your browsing activity across other websites. We honor Do Not Track browser signals because we do not engage in cross site tracking in the first place. No third parties collect personally identifiable information through our site for tracking purposes.

06

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between your browser and our site is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS Level 1 certification, the highest level of payment security. Only the business owner has access to customer records. The service providers described above handle your information only on our behalf, to run the site, fulfill orders and answer your messages.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07

Data Retention

We retain order records and associated customer information for a minimum of seven years to comply with federal and state tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below), and we will delete all information not required for legal compliance.

08

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
  • Opt out of any future non transactional communications

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@stennings.com. We will respond within 30 days.

09

Children's Privacy

Our site and services are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
