Stennings is a small embroidery shop in Discovery Bay, California. We stitch custom logos for businesses and teams, and make our own designs for the shop. Every piece is checked by hand, and nothing ships until it looks right.
Our story
Why Stennings exists.
Stennings started with a straightforward idea: embroidery should be done properly, delivered when promised and priced honestly.
Stennings is run by Joel Stenning. It started in 2022 as TheEmbroiderHub on Etsy, where it earned over 700 reviews, and became Stennings in 2026 to focus on custom embroidery for businesses.
There’s a 12-piece minimum on custom logo work (12 pieces of one garment, with colors and sizes mixed however you like), and our made-to-order shop pieces and build-your-own text start at one.
We work with businesses of every size: a startup’s first batch of branded hoodies, a restaurant outfitting its team, a crew that needs workwear tough enough for the job site, an office that wants something better than a generic bulk order. If you put your name on it, it should look like you meant it.
We look after the whole job: helping you choose the garments, preparing your design for stitching, the embroidery itself, checking every piece, packing and shipping. You have one point of contact from quote to delivery.

- A commercial 15-needle embroidery machine.

- Up to 15 thread colors in one design, without stopping to re-thread.
- Placements
- Caps, chests, sleeves and full backs.
- Thread
- Professional polyester embroidery thread that keeps its color wash after wash.
- Digitizing
- Logos are turned into stitch files by a specialist digitizer, by hand, not auto-traced.
- Checking
- Every piece is inspected before it’s packed. If a stitch is off, it doesn’t ship.
